Accommodation UNIT No 1 Double room with en-suite bathroom : Situated in the Residence, this room embraces the outdoor environment by combining indigenous natural elements, traditional African influences, touches of artistry and classic elegance. With the fusion of chocolate and caramel tones, curvy textured finishes, dark wooden accessories, slate-tiled floor and in-built “roc-style” furnishings, a bush-lodge ambience has been created. The room features a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom which evokes the colors of the Kalahari red-sand-dunes sceneries and the “Big Five” theme; it is equipped with a round shower scattered with pebbles and mosaics, a large corner bath, double hand-painted basins, shaver point and heated towel rail. The tropical atmosphere of this cosy room situated in the residence is accentuated by variations of colorful pastels and quiet neutral shades, complemented by a contrasting terracotta-colored tiled floor, sunny accessories, and extra-long wooden twin single beds. The sea-themed décor and Mexican-style mosaic finishes of the nearby separate private bathroom create a refreshing “exotic-island” feel. Features of the bathroom include a bath, a separate shower, a single basin and an overhead heater. Via its glass sliding-door, the room flows out onto a private verandah wich offers picturesque views of the tropical palm tree garden and the Orange River Valley melting into the endless Kalahari semi-desert. UNIT No 3 Cottage with 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenette : Separate from the main building, the Cottage is a tribute to the Eastern aesthetic and reflects the minimalist Zen-spirit. The natural organic and “Feng Shui” approach to the design and finishes of this unit is enhanced by the use of bamboo, varieties of wood, relaxing white and earthy tones, creamy tiled floors and clean lines. The Cottage consists of a main room which features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom (shower, single hand-painted basin, WC, shaver point), and of an adjacent room which comprises twin single beds and an en-suite bathroom as well (shower over “L”-shaped bath, double natural-stone basins, WC, shaver point, heated towel rail). Part of the main room are also a fully equipped kitchenette and indoor dining facilities. The wooden glass-paneled sliding door of the main room opens onto a private intimate patio surrounded by lush plants and mature trees, from where the soothing sound of a nearby roc water-feature can be enjoyed. If driving from Upington town center, take “Schröderstreet” in direction of Olifantshoek (N14).
Pass under the rail wail bridge and pass the “Camel Rider Monument” situated in front of the police-station. Carry on straight until a crossing road situated in front of the “Gordonia Hospital” and keep on driving straight on the N14.
3.9 km after the “Gordonia Hospital”, the sign-boards “Golf-course” and “Desert Palace” can be seen on the left-hand side of the road (N14).
400 m after these above-mentioned sign-boards, a high bunch of palm trees is situated on the right-hand side of the road.
Drive up into the small street on the right-hand side of the N14, between the high bunch of palm trees and “Naba-Lodge”. Pass in front of “Naba” ‘s main entrance and turn immediately left into the small street at the corner of “ Naba” ‘s garden. La Bohème is visible within a few meters distance. High trees are in front of La Bohème’s premises and a tall Vodacom tower (= a giant palm tree) is situated at the end of the “cul-de-sac” street, close to the guesthouse.
FROM KURUMAN, OLIFANTSHOEK, JOHANNESBURG, VRYBURG

If driving on the N14 from Kuruman, Johannesburg, Olifantshoek, Vryburg, pass “Nirvana B&B” (situated on the left-hand side of the road) just at the beginning of Upington Syianda district.
100 m after “Nirvana”, a high bunch of palm trees is situated on the left-hand side of the road, as well as a small street.
Drive up into the small street on the left-hand side of the N14, between the high bunch of palm trees and “Naba-Lodge”. Pass in front of “Naba” ‘s main entrance and turn immediately left into the small street at the corner of “ Naba” ‘s garden. La Bohème is visible within a few meters distance.
